About the Role

We’re looking for a highly strategic and performance-driven Performance Marketing Specialist to manage and optimize active client campaigns across paid social and programmatic advertising initiatives.

This is a part-time, hourly remote role — flexible, project-based or ongoing — designed for someone who can step into active accounts quickly, manage campaign execution independently with minimal onboarding or ramp-up time, and drive measurable performance improvements across multiple client engagements.

This role goes beyond campaign execution. We’re looking for someone who can think strategically about performance marketing, identify growth opportunities, and provide clear, well-articulated recommendations around audiences, messaging, creative direction, testing strategy, and campaign optimization.

The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience across Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, and TikTok, understands performance-driven optimization at a high level, and is comfortable collaborating closely with creative and strategy teams to improve campaign outcomes.

This role is focused primarily on paid social and programmatic advertising. Google Ads experience is a plus, but it is not the primary focus of this role.

Immediate availability is preferred.

Expected Outcomes & Accountability

This role is ultimately responsible for driving strong campaign performance, strategic optimization, and reliable execution across active client accounts.

Success in this role means:

  • Campaign Performance: Campaigns under your management consistently meet or improve against client KPIs, including ROAS, CPL, CPA, conversion performance, and spend efficiency

  • Optimization Velocity: Performance gaps, risks, or inefficiencies are identified and addressed proactively

  • Strategic Recommendations: Creative and strategy teams receive clear, data-backed recommendations on what is driving results and what should evolve

  • Execution Accuracy: Campaigns are launched, managed, and optimized accurately and efficiently

  • Client Confidence: Clients and internal teams receive clear, actionable performance insights and strategic recommendations

  • Operational Reliability: Campaign execution, reporting, and communication remain organized, dependable, and aligned across accounts

The ideal candidate combines strong execution, strategic thinking, and sound performance marketing judgment.

Responsibilities

Campaign Management

  • Manage, optimize, and report on paid social campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, Reddit and TikTok.

  • Support and execute programmatic advertising campaigns as needed.

  • Monitor campaign pacing, budgets, and performance to ensure alignment with client goals and KPIs.

  • Launch, QA, and maintain campaigns with strong attention to detail and execution accuracy.

Performance Strategy & Optimization

  • Analyze campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities based on performance data and business goals.

  • Develop strategic recommendations around audience targeting, creative direction, messaging, funnel optimization, campaign structure, and testing strategy.

  • Collaborate closely with creative teams to provide clear, performance-driven feedback and recommendations grounded in data and performance insights.

  • Conduct testing across audiences, creatives, messaging, and campaign structures.

  • Troubleshoot campaign issues and proactively identify performance risks or gaps.

  • Identify patterns across accounts and apply learnings proactively.

  • Contribute strategic input on campaign structure, audience segmentation, and messaging direction.

  • Maintain organized campaign documentation, reporting, and optimization notes.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate closely with strategy and creative teams to support campaign execution and performance goals.

  • Communicate clearly around campaign updates, performance insights, risks, and optimization recommendations.

  • Contribute to a collaborative, fast-moving remote team environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing paid social and performance marketing campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, and/or TikTok platforms.

  • Strong understanding of performance marketing strategy, campaign optimization, audience targeting, creative testing, and conversion-focused execution.

  • Proven ability to independently manage and optimize active campaigns with minimal onboarding or ramp-up time.

  • Ability to translate performance data into clear strategic recommendations for creative and internal teams.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with campaign optimization, performance reporting, and performance analysis.

  • Experience supporting e-commerce, B2B, and/or B2C campaigns.

  • Comfortable managing multiple client accounts and priorities simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English & Spanish).

  • Experience working in agency environments is strongly preferred.

  • Experience with programmatic advertising platforms is strongly preferred.

  • Google Ads experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
