Remote — Full Time

Senior Digital Marketing Strategist

About Us

Lineout is a boutique agency bringing a refreshingly honest approach to data-driven marketing. While we deliver exceptional outcomes in the growth engineering space, what sets us apart is the trusting, supportive relationships we build — both with our clients and within our team.

As an all-remote agency, our culture has flourished organically. We move fast, collaborate deeply, and prioritize clear communication. Our team spans media, strategy, design, and consulting — partnering with clients ranging from startups to enterprise businesses to help them grow with intention.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist to join our team. This is a senior-level, full-time remote role for someone who combines strong strategic thinking with exceptional communication skills.

You’ll be responsible for taking in complex, often scattered client information and translating it into focused, well-structured digital marketing strategies — and then articulating those strategies clearly, both internally and directly to clients.

We’re looking for someone who understands how paid social, paid search, SEO, web development, conversion rate optimization, landing page optimization, and messaging and positioning work collaboratively together — and who can develop integrated growth recommendations across all of them. This is not a hands-on media buying or execution role. We need someone who thinks strategically across channels and can translate that thinking into clear direction for the teams responsible for execution.

The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating ambiguity, leading strategic conversations, and communicating recommendations in a way that clients understand, trust, and align with. You’ll work closely with leadership, media, and creative teams to shape growth strategies across multiple accounts and industries while helping guide client conversations with clarity and confidence.

Expected Outcomes & Accountability

This role is ultimately responsible for helping clients and internal teams move from ambiguity to clear, actionable marketing direction that drives business growth and stronger performance outcomes.

Success in this role means:

  • Strategic Clarity: Complex or scattered client information is translated into focused, well-structured marketing strategies and recommendations — not vague ideas or open-ended direction.

  • Client Alignment: Recommendations are communicated in a way that clients understand, trust, and can confidently act on.

  • Execution Readiness: Media, creative, and leadership teams receive strategic direction that is clear, actionable, and aligned with execution priorities.

  • Growth Opportunities: Opportunities across positioning, paid media, messaging, funnels, and conversion strategy are proactively identified and communicated.

  • Strategic Communication: Complex marketing concepts are simplified into actionable recommendations that support faster alignment and stronger decision-making.

  • Performance Improvement: Performance insights, conversion data, and business metrics are used to continuously refine strategy and improve outcomes over time.

  • Strategic Consistency: Recommendations remain grounded in business context, performance data, and client goals — not assumptions or generic frameworks.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to create clarity in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.
